More on this on the second point.īattles 2 gives a lot more money to the players to work with in general than in battles 1. This allows both players can invest in more of their economy. Because of that, players aren't going to waste their cash on a rush that won't work, leading to both players not rushing at all. ![]() Why does this matter? It matters because this allows the player to defend rushes without having to spend a lot of cash to defend. Towers are much stronger than the bloons. The reason Battles 2 encourages defensive play is because of two things: Why does Battles 2 encourage defensive play? (not sending relatively expensive rushes until round 30+, not sending rushes at all unless the opponent does it first, etc.) Note: When I say the word "economy", I am referring to eco, farms, and alt eco. How do we encourage aggressive play? First, we need to identify the reason why Battles 2 is so defensive in the first place so that you can form your own opinion. ![]() ![]() And while for some this is perfect, it should be safe to assume that the majority of BTDB2 players enjoy the aggressive play that Battles 1 offered rather than what we have right now. It seems that Bloons TD Battles 2 heavily encourages defensive play rather than aggressive play since the towers are so much stronger than the bloons.
